Equipment to assist you to move in your home (Transfer equipment) assessment, recommendations, trial, training, progressions, and review. Ensuring you and your support workers can use your equipment safely.
- This is classified as assistive technology in the NDIS
Therapy programs for people with:
- Spinal cord injuries
- orthopaedic conditions (amputation, post fracture, post surgery, congenital disorders)
- Injuries
Strength programs for maintenance or to improve independence
Stretching programs for maintenance to reduce contractures or maintain range of movement
Manual Handling training for participants, carer’s, families and support workers to assist the sustainability of supports by preventing and reducing injury
Participant and carer injury management, avoidance and advice
Management of pain that is reducing function including (but not limited to) back and shoulder pain (e.g. wheelchair users)
